The Challenge
CarePlus was locked into a legacy Windows Server 2012 infrastructure. High hosting overhead, slow performance, and security compliance gaps (HIPAA) blocked their expansion plans and limited database queries.
The Solution
Acted as fractional CTO to oversee the migration to AWS GovCloud. Decoupled their monolithic codebase into lightweight, HIPAA-compliant Docker microservices, migrated databases to AWS Aurora PostgreSQL with automated failover, and trained their team on secure DevOps pipelines.
